On the final day of the Ranji Trophy match held between Mumbai and Uttar Pradesh, Sarfaraz Khan slammed an unbe🔯aten triple century to guide his team to draw the game.
Sarfaraz became the eighth Mumbai batsman to score a triple ton and joined the elite list, which includes legends like Vija😼y Merchant, Ajit Wadekar, and Sunil Gavaskar.

Sarfaraz spoke to bcci.tv after smashing his first triple ton and said that he had belief in himself to change the game. The 22-year old also revealed why he didn’t have any food ahead of his triple ton.
“I didn’t eat anything because I was hungry for runs. I feel I’ve had struggles in the past, and I’m ready to face more struggles in the future, and I don’t want to look behind now. I just want to play for Mumbai,” said Sarfaraz.
The attacking batsman also shared his journey from Azad Maidan to Wankhede𒊎 stadium and dedicated the s🔯pecial innings to his parents.
“I’ve spent much more time in Azad Maidan. I used to see Wankhede Stadium and wonder when I will play here and score a double century, triple century and see the crowd cheering for me,” added Sarfaraz.
“I would like to thank the Mumbai Cricket Association for showing trust in me. It’s a special moment, and I’d like to dedicate this triple ton to my parents, especially to my dad, who has worked really hard for me,” Sarfaraz added further.
