A bizarre moment during the first ODI between India and Australia caught everyone’s attention. A kite fell onto the field and delayed the Indian innings for a few minutes.
On Tuesday, India was celebrating the ‘Festival of Kites’ when a purple and orange kite came flying inside the ground. Australian opener David Warner, who was fielding near the wickets, picked-up the kite.
Warner was also seen talking to the umpire and pulling the thread of the kite, wh🅘ich was stuck wit✤h a spider-cam.
The left-handed batsman posted a picture of himself holding the kite and pointing towards the sky on his Instagram account. He wrote: “Caption this.”
Indian fans were thrilled and excited with Warner’s post as they wished him ‘Happy Makar Sankranti.’
Afghanistan’s sensational spinner Rashid Khan also responded to Warner’s picture holding a kite and captioned it as: “There is another one coming into us make sure you catch that?”
Earlier, Australia showcased their dominance in the three-matc🔜h series opener. After bundling out the Indian team for 255, the visitors chased down the target with 74-balls to spare and won the contest by 10-wickets.
The next encounter will take place on Friday (Jan 17) at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadiu🦂m in Rajko൩t.
