Chasing a target of 262, the Proteas crumble🌃d against left-arm spinner Rakibul Hasan who scalped five wickets for just 19 runs in his 9.3 overs. The Bryce Parsons-led side could only reach 157.

After being asked to bat first, the ‘Tigers’ opener Tanzid Hasan played a marvelous inning of 80 runs. He was followed by Towhid Hridoy (51) and Shahadat Hussain (74), who helped their side post a competitive total of 261 in 50 overs.
For South Africa, only Luke Beaufort showed some fight and smashed the highest score (60 off 91 balls) for his team. No other batsman could even reach 50. The bottom five bat🐻smen scored 14-runs combined.
Rakibul was rewarded with the ‘Player of the Match’ award for his outstanding bowling.
