Dale Steyn will once again play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). His tournament was cut short last year due to a shoulder injury, and in fact, South Africa missed his services during the 2019 Wor🔥ld Cup as well.
Steyn started his IPL career with RCB way back in 2008 before being signed up by them last year as an injury replacement. In IPL 2020 auction, the Challengers roped him in again at his base price during the second accelerated round. And ahead of the much-awaited next season, Steyn has left the RCB fans delighted by chanting: ‘Ee Sala Cup Namde’, which means ‘This year, the cup is ours’.
The 36-year-old speedster was signing autographs for his fans after the Big Bash League (BBL) clash between Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades when he said the RCB slogan. He was asked by a fan to repeat the same as well as ‘Go RCB’, and the Proteas legend duly obliged.

Earlier, Mike Hesson, the Director of Cricket for RCB, revealed that skipper Virat Kohli had wanted Steyn at all costs, and it was the reason why the franchise has retained h🐼im.
