During the first T20I of the ongoing three-match series between India and West Indies, Virat Kohli emulated the Windies fast bowler Kesrick Williams’ notebook celebration.
It all happened on the third delivery of the 16th over when Kohli hit a brilliant six off Wil🎐liams tꦰo follow it up with an entertaining celebration.
An animated Kohli was se🍸en ticking boxes in the notebook after hitting Williams for a four and a six in a hilarious reply.
Koh༒li and Williams faced-off agaiဣnst each other several times during the run-chase. The Indian skipper was often seen complaining to the umpire with respect to Williams coming in his way while him running between the wickets.
Kohli was angry with himself as well as he couldn’t middle the ball correctly. Having scored at a run-a-ball for the first 20-25 balls, the 31-year-old mistiming the ball regularly was evident from his face.

Coming in to bat at No. 3 in the fourth over, Kohli eventually made a mockery of a 208-run chase as the hosts won the match with six wickets in hand. It was also India’s highest-ever successful chase in T20I. Thanks to captain Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 94 off just 50 balls with the help of six fours and six sixes.
