Sixers’ wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Philippe kicked-off his BBL campaign with a bang. Chasing the low total of 131, Philippe hammered unbeaten 81 off 44 balls at a mind-blowing strike-rate of 184.09.
The eye-grabbing moment came when Philippe finished the match by sen🅰ding the ball on the roof of the stadium.
The 22-year old smashed the d🌄elivery bowled by Kane Richardson into deep mid-wicket. He timed the ball so perfectly that it landed on the roof of the SCG stadium.

During his knock, Philippe hit 11 boundaries and three maximums. And the right-hander will be happy with his performance as he was dropped fr🧜om the Sheffield Shield and the Marsh One-Day Cup tournament as well.
Earlier, in the match, Sixers won the toss and decided to bowl first. With the discipཧlined bowling effort, they restricted the Scorchers to 🐻131.
In response, Six🍎ers defeated Scorchers and won their opening game of BBL |9 by eight wickets.
