Watling played a defe🍃nsive shot, but the ball took the inside edge and went straight into the hands of David Warner, positioned at leg-slip.
“I’m not sure I’ve seen that. Inside edge back through the gate to leg slip – normally you see those ones played off the back foot, inside edge off the thigh pad to leg slip. But not like that,” said Ponting.
