WATCH: Jofra Archer left stunned after Quinton de Kock hits him for back to back sixes in Centurion Test

England speedster Jofra Archer gave away six runs an over in the secon🤪d innings of the recently concluded first Test against So🔯uth Africa in Centurion. Although Archer picked up his third five-wicket haul in Test cricket, he conceded 102 runs in 17 overs.

The 24-year-year pacer was hit all over the part by the Proteas wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock.

De Kock was one of the main architects of South Africa’s victory after he bailed his team out of trouble from 4 for 97 on the first day itself, scoring 95 runs to help the hosts reach 284 in their first innings.

Meanwhile, England managed to put 181 on the board in their first innings. Joe Denly w🐠as the highest scorer for the side with a half-century. For South Africa, Vernon Philander picked up a 4-wicket haul while Kagiso Rabada took 3.

In the second innings, South Africa posted 272 runs on the back of Rassie van der Dussen’s 51. Philander also scored 46 off 68, where Archer took a fifer. England opener Rory Burns scored 84, whereas Kagiso Rabada bagged four wickets. Anrich Nortje picked up three wickets and restricted England at 268.

South Africa won the match by 107 runs and took 1-0 lead in the four-Test series.
