Virat Kohli responds to Amitabh Bachchan’s viral tweet on Indian skipper’s notebook celebration

Virat Kohli produced a batting masterclass for blowing aღway the West Indies and helping India re🐓gister a record victory in the first T20 International (T20I) of the three-match series in Hyderabad on Friday.

The Indian captain smashed an unbeaten 94 off 50 balls as the Men in Blue chased down the 208-run target set by the Ca⛄ribbean side with six wickets remaining in hand.

During the sensational knock, Kohli even mocked Kesrick Williams by emulating his “notebook” celebration after hitting him for a six.

Reacting to Kohli’s match-winning knock and his mock celebration, Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to recreate his famous dialogue from the blockbuster movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’.

“I have told you many times that you shouldn’t tease Virat, but you never listen to me. Now he has written it on a paper and handed it over to you. Look at the face of the West Indian team. Kohli hit them really hard,” read Big B’s tweet when translated in English.

Captain Kohli thanked Sr. Bachchan for his post, saying the legendary actor is “always an inspiration”.

Virat struggled to bat in the series opener during the initial phase of his innings, especially again♛st the left-arm speedster Sheldon Cottrell but later faced no difficulty in smashing the rest of the Windi✃es bowlers out of the park.

West Indies seemed to have given India a 💜challenging target after Evin Lewis (40), Shimron Hetmyer (56), Kieron Pollard (37) and Jason Holder (24) punished Indian bowlers for registering a 200 plus total. With Kohli and KL Rahul (62) in peak form, however, India chased down the total wi⭕th eight balls to spare.
