Players amass a considerable amount of money in the cash-rich league, and that’s the reason every cricketer wants to be a part of IPL.

Every year, some players top the table of most expensive buys. The likes of MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh, Gautam Gambhir, and Ben Stokes have set the IPL auctions on fire with the whopping amount they’ve received for playing in the world’s biggest T20 tournament.

Australian fast bowler Pat Cummins emerged as the most expensive overseas player in the IPL auction history on Thursday. The pacer was sold to Kolkata Kni🔯ght Riders (KKR) for a walloping Rs 15.50 crore at the 2020 IPL Auction that took place in Kolkata.

Cummins surpassed the previous record of Ben Stokes who was the most expensi🦂ve player in the 2017 IPဣL auction. Stokes was bought by Rising Pune Supergiants for Rs 14.5 crore.
