The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is not only one of the greatest batsmen but also a great human being apart from all his heroics on the field. Many current and former cricketers respect him for that, and a testimony for the same was once again visible on Thursday. The former England batsman Kevin Pietersen admires him a lot, and he posted a cheeky comment on Kohli’s recent picture on Instagram, which has left the fans in splits.
On Thursday, Virat took to Instagram to post a transformational picture of himself. On the left is his view from more than a decade ago where he could be seen sporting a stubble on his chubby face. On the right is his picture from the present day, where he could be seen sporting a thick beard. He captioned the photo: “#TransformationThursday and my reaction says it all.”
Kohli’s next assignment will be to lead the Men in Blue in a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, followed by a three-match ODI series against Australia. But ahead of that, he was promoting a shaving product through the picture ꦕwhere he shared two of his different looks.
Virat even challenged♔ Suresh Raina ❀and Ravindra Jadeja to take part in the promotional campaign.
Meanwhile, Pietersen reacted to Kohli’s transformation picture and wrote, “I remember that guy on the left.”
A young Kohli shared the dressing room with Pietersen at Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) during the former England skipper’s stint in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2009 and 2010.
