India opener KL Rahul on Wednesday scored his 3rd ODI hundred to guide his team to a mammoth total of 387/5 against West Indies at Dr. YS Rajasekhar✅a Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Vis🌄akhapatnam.
Rahul’s hundred came off 102 balls with the help of 8 boundaries and three sixes. The Vizag effort is also his first ODI hundred on home soil.
In the second ODI, Rahul answered nearly every question that was thrown at him and shut out all the external noise. After he reached to his ton with a boundary – Rahul dropped his helmet and bat, then put both his hands on his ears, gesticulating he wanted to stop all the chatter.

Two balls later, Rahul carved fast bowler Alzarri Joseph to the third man and was sent off with a pat on his head from his vice-captaiཧn Rohit Sharma and a standing ovation from the cro꧃wd. Skipper Virat Kohli was also impressed in the dressing room, so much that he raised his own bat by the time Rahul raised his after reaching the landmark.

After the completion of India’s innings, the right-hander was asked about his peculiar celebration by Ian Bishop. However, Rahul denied to reveal anything about the celebration and said, “My mindset’s very clear, I know my responsibility. I will let the celebration stay a mystery. Today was my day. I was hitting the ball well; fortunately, it came off. All the conversations between me and Rohit are mostly tactical, we plan that and try to execute, happy that all those plans came off today.”
Rahul was seen celebrating his ton by covering his ears with hi🧔s fingers, hinting that he was blocking thღe sound from his critics while doing his job for Team India.
Recently, FC Bayern footballer 𓂃Philippe Coutinho was also seen flaunting a similar kind of celebration after scoring a goal.
