Yuzvendra Chahal delighted his fans by sharing a picture of himself batting in the nets. However, some from the cricket fraternity couldn’t resist teasing the Indian spinner for his latest post on Instagram.
“Enjoying my day out in the nets,” Chahal captioned the picture.
England woman cricketer Danielle Wyatt commented “bowled” with a ‘grinning face’ emoji, while Team India fielding coach R Sridhar went on to say “what a worried look” with a ‘winking eye’ emoji.
Earlier this year, Chahal entered the record books after scoring 18 runs off 37 balls in the fourth ODI between India and New Zealand. He became only the second batsman to top score in a match for India while batting at the number 10 or a lower position. His unbeaten 18 is second to only Javagal Srinath’s 43 against Pakistan in 1996 which came while batting at number 10.
Yuzi is among the four spinners included in India’s 15-man squad for ongoing three-match T20 international series against the West Indies, which started in Hyderabad on Friday.
