WATCH: Tim Paine finds unique way to sledge Mohammad Rizwan on Day 1 of the Gabba Test

Australia captain Tim Paine found a unique way to compliment and sledge Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan at the same time on Day 1 of the Gabba Test on Thursday.

Paine was caught saying, “He smells very nice” while trying to unsettle Rizwan and provoke an erratic shot out of right-hander off Nathan Lyon’s bowling in the 46th over of first innings.

Before𒅌 the hilarious comment, Paine also asked Rizwan to hit Lyon for a boundary with a sweep shot.

The 27-year-old came to bat after Pakistan suffered a batting collapse after the decent opening partnership.
Iftikhar Ahmed had got out to off-sp𒁏inner Lyon inꩵ the same over.

After losing half the💦 side for 94, Rizwan shared a crucial ๊49-run stand with Asad Shafiq for the sixth wicket.

Rizwan scored a quickfir🍷e 3🅠7 including seven boundaries.

This is not the first💜 time Paine has made headlines for his comments behind the stumps. In🌼 2018, he sledged Rishabh Pant as well asking him to babysit his kids.
