England all-rounder Ben Stokes once again starred with the bat as he top-scored for his side and helped them post a decent total of 353/10 in the fiไrst innings of the opening Test against New Zealand at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui.
Resuming his innings from 67 not out on Day 2,✅ Stokes was all set to reach the three-figure mark before Ross Taylor pulled off a stunning catch to send him back f෴or 91.
It happened in the 101st over of the match.ꦯ Though fast bowler 🔯Tim Southee got the big wicket of Stokes, credit should go to Taylor, who timed his jump to perfection and completed the one-handed stunner.
