Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) had a forgettable outing at the Indian Premie🧸r League (IPL) 2019 despite having star-studded players in the line-up.
Virat🌳 Kohli-led RCB managed to win only five matches out of the 14 they played in the season. They lost their fir💦st six matches in a row. And the only highlights of the season for them was winning three consecutive games.
For the next season, RCB have revamped their coaching and support staff. They parted ways with Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra and brought in Simon Katich as head coach, Mithun Minhas as an assistant coach, and re-hired Basu Shanker as strength and conditioning coach apart from becoming the first IPL franchise to hire a woman in Navnita Gautam as the 🐈Sports massage therapist.
Mike Hesson confirms the date
RCB’s director of cricket operations Mike Hesson on Friday confirmed that the list of retained and released players would be finalized on November 15. The Bangalore team has been one of the most underperforming ones given that despite the considerable star power, they have not won the tournament even once.
For all those fans who are asking about updates on released/retained players, they will be finalised on the 15th November ……..
