Mushfiqur Rahim’s perfectly paced, unbeaten 60 guided Bangladesh to a seven-wicket win over India, the♉ir first against the Men in Blue in nine attempts.
Mushfiqur’s late charge against Khaleel Ahmed completely changed the game in Delhi. The Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batsman smacked Khaleel for four consecutive boundaries in the penultimate over and made the last over look-like a formality.
Earlier, India was restricted to 148 for six after being asked to bat in th✱e first T20I at the Arun Jaitley stadium by Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah.
The visiting team’s bowlers used the conditions superbly to keep Rohit Sharma & Co. in check. The captain himself flopped with the bat, scoring just nine runs.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Bangladesh’s win over India:
The way have sealed this one, shows what they got💜, rate this team highly for the World Cup next year! loves 🇮🇳Congratulations﷽ on creating history Bangladesh!

Many narratives in that matchwining knock from Mushfiqur Rahim. Am🧸ongst other things, i꧙t will help him to somewhat exorcise the ghost of 2016👏👏👏👏. Congrats .

Another defeat batting first. I think India tend to be too conse꧂rvative upfront, something they cannot afford to🐓 be in a run chase.

Excellent chase by . At one stage looked like they were being choked by India’s bowlers, but Mushfiqur’s experience and class came thru. Big wiꦿn in shadow of Sakib controversy. India below par in batting, 🥃bowing and fielding today.
