India maintained their formidable home record by thrashing South Africa by an innings and 137 runs in the second test at Pune to clinch the three-Test series with a match to spare on Sunday.
Made to follow on, the Faf Du Plessis & Co. were bundled out for 189 in their second innings after the Tea break as Virat Kohli’s men took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series.
With the series win, India has now consolidated its top spot in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.

India's biggest win over South Africa. Been better at all aspects. And the series has been won, not on minefields, but on perfectly good tracks. This one in Pune was excellent.
