On Saturday, Pakistan suffered a 64 run defeat in the first T20I of the 3-match series against the inexperienced Sri Lankan side as they failed to chase the target of 166 runs. Incidentally, this was Sri Lanka’s biggest win over Pakistan in T20Is, and they have now taken a 1-0 lead in the series.
The chase started on a horror note for Pakistan as Sri Lankan bowlers Nuwan Pradeep and Isu🍌ru Udana dismissed three top-order batsmen to leave the hosts reeling early. While Pradeep dismissed Babar Azam and Umar Akmal off successive balls, Udana cleaned up Ahmed Shehzad.
Then Sarfaraz Ahmed and Iftikhar Ahmed tried to steady the ship. The duo added 46 runs before a hilarious misunderstanding ended a flowering partnership that was looking good to take the home team past the finish line. Sarfaraz took off in search of a quick single after jamming out a yorker, but Iftikhar, at the other end, wasn’t interested at all. Both batsmen jostled to the crease at the striker’s end. Meanwhile, Udana removed the bails at the bowling end, and replays had to be seen who was out.
Sarfaraz made the ground first, and Iftikhar had to go back to the dug-out💖 for 24-ball 25.
Fans were amazed at the comical incompetence of ✨the Pakistani batsmen after watching the run-out and decided to make fun of them in the only way they could.
This is so !! I don't even see such run outs in school cricket !! I wonder how they repeatedly do it with such precision !!

There are bound to be confusions resulting in runouts in but I am amazed to see the number of times it happens with a particular team 🦹having both batsmen at the same end of the pitch while being run out.

I think MCC wanted to remove Run-out from dismissal but Pakistan didn't want it. So they try to convince them till now with their hilarious Run-outs.
