IND vs SA 2nd Test: WATCH – Kagiso Rabada’s wayward throw leaves Virat Kohli amused

On the opening day of the second Test between India and South Africa in Pune, a wayward throw from Kagiso Rabada saw him gifting the hosts’ skipper Virat Kohli his first boundary of the innings.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 66th over when Kohli tapped a Keshav Maharaj delivery towards the point region to steal a quick single. In a bid to run-out Ajinkya Rahane at the striker’s end, Rabada unleashed a flat throw. However, with Rabada’s throw being out of South Africa wicket-keeper Quinton de Kock’s reach, the ball ended up running away to the square leg boundary.

Kohli, who walked out to bat in the 52nd over, hadn’t scored a boundary in the 47 deliveries that he faced. Having received an easy boundary after Rabada’s rare mistake, Kohli was seen showing thumbs up to the South African players.
