On the second day of the third and final Test against South Africa in Ranchi, India captain Virat Kohli enjoyed the most from the dressing room. He cheered every shot and celebrated each milestone achieved by his team-mates on the field. But the best of the lot was his impromptu reaction to Ravindra Jadeja’s sword celebration.
Jadeja, who is ranked no. 2 in the ICC Test rankings for all-rounders, on Sunday, registered his 13th Test half-century and celebrated it with his typ🍒ical sword-wielding display. And Kohli sitting in the dressing room, stood up and joined the celebration.
The skip♓per went onto suggest that Jadeja should also do some horse-riding act.
India, after the batting brilliꦯance of Rohit Sharma (212) and Ajinkya Rahane (115), declared their first innings at 497/9. Later, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav removed Dean Elgar and Quinton de Kock r🐲espectively to leave the Proteas reeling at 9/2 before bad light stopped play on Day 2.
