Rohit Sharma has become the third Indian batsman to reach the top 10 in all three formats after a memorable Test series against South Africa.
Rohit emulated captain Virat Kohli and former 🍸cricketer Gautam Gambhir as his knock of 212 in the Ranchi Test helped him advance 12 places to the 10th po𓂃sition in the latest released ICC Test Rankings for batsmen.
Ajinkya Rahane’s knock of 116 in Ranchi also helped him equal his career-best rank of fifth place, achieved earlier in November 2016.
H💙e remains the third-best Indian batsman in terms of Test rankings after Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara.
With Pujara at the 4th position, India finished the Freedom serie🍰s with four batsmen in the top ꦆ10.
The ‘Hitman’ has held a career-best ranking of second in ODIs (in February 2018) and seventh in T20Is (November 2018).

Among bowlers, Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav ended the South Africa series with their highes𒆙t-ever rati♏ng points tally.
Shami is currently on 751 points and only one place below his career-best ranking of 14th achieved in 🍃March 2018, while Yadav is on 624 points, three below his best of 21st in July 2016.
All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been phenomenal with both the bat and ball of late, has retained his No. 2 position in the list of all-rounders. On the🍎 other hand, Ravichandran Ashwin has dropped down to No. 6 in the same list.
