India registered yet another resounding win over West Indies in the second Test on Monday to complete the series sweep 2-0 and consolida🐓te their top position in the ICC World Test Championship points table. India won the first Test ꦑby 318 runs in Antigua last week.
Chasing a near-impossible target of 468, the Windies battingﷺ once again failed t𒅌o show stomach for a good fight as they were bundled out for 210 in the second session of Day 4 to lose the match by 257 runs.
The bowling quartet of Ishant Sharma (2/37 in 12 overs), Mohammed Shami (3/65 in 16 overs), Jasprit Bumrah (1/31 in 11 overs) and Ravindra Jadeja (3/58 in 16.5 overs) were relentless in their pursuit of maintaining a tight leash on the hosts’ batsmen.
This win in Jamaica has taken India’s points tally to 120 after two games and they now lead the nine-team table even though Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa are yet to begin their bilateral campaign as a part of the ICC World Test Championship.

Second successive big win gives India surge in points in World Test Championship. Also highlights strength of the team. West Indies not in the same league but will be disappointed with their performanceꦍ, especially batting which was as sturdy as roasted papadum

2-0 as expected. India's bowlers were too powerful, too relentless. And Bumrah was outstanding. Big plus the performances of Rahane and Vihari. And Ishant who is playing his best cricket for the last 18-24 months.

Comp💟rehensive 2-0 win for India. The bowling attack continues to show its worth. Now for batting to step up, especially the top order.
Imagine thinking saying this would be possible.

Lot of positives for India from WI Test series:
– Jasprit Bumrah showed his class with the new-ball. Was superb
– Hanuma Vihari played well in both the Tests. At Jamaica, he was the standout performer
