In an announceᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚment on Thursday, the International Cricket Council banned the Sri🌠 Lankan spinner Akila Dananjaya for bowling for 12 months.
Dananjaya was reported fo♌r his bowling action during the first Test again𝓀st New Zealand last month.
Dananjaya went through an independent assessment for his bowling action in Chennai on August 29. As per the results, Dananjaya’s action was found to be illegal.
Back in December 2018, ICC banned Dananjaya for the same reason. The suspension was terminated in February 2019 after Dananjaya made some changes to his bowling action and went through reassessmen🅠t.
Sri Lanka bowler Akila Dananjaya has been banned from bowling in internat🐓ional cric🃏ket for 12 months.

Now the 25-years old spinner will be able to apply for reassessment only after the expiry of his suspension period🦹.
