The Indian team’s number four problem doesn’t seem to end. The national selectors tried out several options like Amba🏅ti Rayudu, KL Rahul, Vijay Shankar, and Rishabh Pant. However, not a single one out of them could make the position his own.
Recently, India’s new batting coach Vikram Rathour backed Shreyas Iyer for the no. 4 spot. Rathou꧂r even mentioned Manish Paꦕndey’s name.
Head coach Ravi Shastri also h♋ad said that 🧜Iyer would be Team India’s No. 4 batsman.
🍒Iyer batted at five in the ODI series against the West Indies and struck two match-winning fifties. In both the games, he built a steady partnership with captain Virat Kohli.
Meanwhile, Harbhajan Singh, the legendary off-spinner, felt that Sa꧃nju Samson could resolve India’s No. 4 issue. The Kerala batsman played a crackling knock against South Africa ‘A’ in Thiruvananthapuram, and guided India A to a commanding victory by 36 runs. Samson churned out 91 runs off 48 deliveries, which included six boundaries and seven sixes.
Harbhajan w🌠as thoroughly impressed by the youngster’s technique with which he constructed hisꦚ match-winning innings.
Bhajji praised Samson on Twitter. He wrote – “Why not @IamSanjuSamson at number 4 in odi.. with good technique and good head on his shoulders.. well played today anyways against SA A .”

For💯mer India left-hander Yuvraj Singh, who thought differently, replied to the Turbanator’s tweet –
“Top order is very strong bro they don’t need no 4 batsman.”
Yuvi followed it up with a laughing emoticon.
Top order is very strong bro they d⭕on’t need no 4 batsman 🤣

However, former India opener Gautam Gambhir completely agreed wi𒁏th Harbhajan Singh.
He tweeted – “Yes @harbhajan_singh on current form and his skills this Southern Star, @IamSanjuSamson can bat even on Moon’s South Pole!!! I wonder if they had space on Vikram to carry this marvel of a batsman. Well done Sanju on scoring 91 off 48 balls against South Africa A side.”

Earlier, even before Harbhajan, it was Gambhir who had opined that Sanju Samson would ⛄b൩e best for the No. 4 position.
