After Jasprit Bumrah’s hat-trick, Harbhajan Singh and Adam Gilchrist engage in Twitter war

Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh was the first Indian to take a Test hat-trick as he scalped the🧸 wickets of Ricky Ponting, Adam Gilchrist, and Shane 🗹Warne. The Turbanator finished with supremely impressive figures of 7/123.

After 18 years of this incident at the Eden Gardens, Bhaᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚjji and Gilchrist engage♊d in a war of words on Twitter.

It all started when Jasprit Bumrah became the thi♛rd Ind♑ian to record a hat-trick during the second Test against t🔴he Windies at Sa💫bina Park. His hat-trick delivery was given not out by the umpire, but DRS overturned the original decision.

After Bumrah’s historic achievement, videos of Harbhajan Singh and Irfan Pathan’s respective hat-tricks started circulating on social media. The former wicketkeeper-batsman tweeted “No DRS” on top of Harbhajan’s hat🥃-trick video. A sad emoticon followed his ꧃tweet.

Gilchrist was the second manꦜ to be given out LBW, but replays showed that there was an inside edge. The Aꦚustralian left-hander had to walk back to the pavilion as there was no Decision Review System (DRS) in those days.

Tಌhe Indian offie gave it back to Gilcꦇhrist on Wednesday.

He tweeted –

“U think u would have survived for long if not first ball? Stop crying over these things mate..thought u would talk sense after ur playing days.. but few things never change u r the prime example of that. Always crying (sic).”

However, the 39-year-old deleted the tweet later.
