After India sealed the T20I series with a 3-0 win over West Indies, Yuzvendra Chahal made a cheeky remark on the Ro꧂hit Sharma-Rishabh Pant intervꦬiew shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
The Indian cricket board captioned the video – “Guyana diaries: “@ImRo45 & @RishabhPant17 unplugged. Two low scores & a match-winning fifty. The Hitman finds out how Pant turned it around in the final T20.”

India defeated the West Indies by seven wickets in the third T20I at Provﷺidence, Guyana on Tuesday, Aug♕ust 6, with Pant rising to the occasion as the hero.
The young wicketkeeper-batsman played an outstanding match-winning knock – 65 not out off 42 balls.
“It felt good. I believe in my process, yes I was not able to score runs in the first two matches, but today everything fell in place. I had a good partnership with Virat Bhai, we had a gameplan of batting for long period and then accelerating in the later overs,” Pant told Sharma.
“Sometimes I get frustrated, I assess what went wrong. Every time you cannot make the right decisions, I believe in my basics and my ability. Sometimes I feel pressure, sometimes I enjoy, but when you know the team backs you, you obviously feel good,” he added.
Rohit was rested for the final T20I. On the other hand, Chahal, who was not a part of the T20I squad, will join the 🎃team along with Kuldeep Yadav for the three-match ODI series.
India and West Indi൲es will face off in the first ODI on Thursday, August 8, in Guyana.
