Sri Lanka’s middle-order batsman Kusal Mendis suffered an accident at the R Premadasa Stadium on Friday as he skidded off a bike during the post-match celebrations in Colombo.

While Mendis was riding the bike, Shehan Jayasuriya was on the pillion seat🉐.

The security personnel present nearby rushed to the rescue of the duo and fortuꦿnat🧔ely, neither of them got injured and both got on their feet soon. A video of the incident soon went viral.
