Virat Kohli has never gone more t💮han five half centuries without converting to a century. He was on the cusp of it ꦅtoday, but No 42 was inevitable. Privelidged to be around to see the master of modern ODI cricket batting.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had tremendous success at the Queen's Park Oval in ODIs with 15 wickets in 5 innings at an average of 6.53. Of the 329 combinations where a bowler has taken 15+ wickets at a venue in ODIs, no bowler has a lower average compared to Bhuvneshwar.

This is Virat Kohli's fifth century out of his last eight ODI innings against West Indies.

That century is proof hard work always pays off. It is hot, humid and Kohli struggled out there. That innings included some of the best shots I've seen him play. 42nd ODI hundred.

Also became the highest run-getter in ODIs v WI— Sarang Bhalerao (@bhaleraosarang)
Virat Kohli scores an ODI ton after 11 innings and it seemed like eternity to all of us. That's how accustomed we've become to watch him thump tons with ridiculous ease & consistency. No. 42 for the King !!!
