Former Sou🔯th Africa star batsman, Hashim Amla on Sunday, August 11, thanked all his fans, suppor๊ters, teammates and cricketers worldwide for their wishes.
On August 8, the Proteas l෴egend had called it quits from international crick𒊎et. The entire cricketing woไrld took♓ to social media to wish him a happy retirement.
In return, Amla took to Instꦑagram to thank everyone 🃏–
“Thanks to everyone for the wishes, messages, and calls. Wow! It was truly an amazing journey with the Proteas, one that I was honored to be a part of. So many valuable lessons learned and countless memories made during an incredible #proteafire journey. It’s all the friends and teammates who have actually become family that I walk away richer for. Aww man..probably a book load of stories and memories. Until then I look forward to the next chapter of making more cricket memories on different grounds throughout the world,” Amla wrote in his post.
And then, he hinted at something really sur൩prising through a pic of him ꦰbowling –
“Ps- regarding the last Pic…#underused #hiddenpotential,” he added.
The right-handed batting genius was quick to let his fans know via the image that he was good in the bܫowling department as well. But at the end of the day, he was not used much as a bowler.

The 36-year-old was thꩲe only South African to smash a triple ton in Tests.
He aggregated 9,282 runs at an average of 46.64 in 124 Tes🐭t matches and 8,113 at 49.46 in 181 ODIs.
He notched up 28 centuries in💯 Tests (four double tons) and 27 hundred in ODIs.
