Cricket fraternity congratulates PV Sindhu on winning India’s first-ever gold in a World Badminton Championship

Ace shuttler PV Sin🐬dhu achieved an extraordinary feat in Basel, Switzerland. She became the first Indian to win a gold medal at the BWF World Championship, thus making her country proud.

Having been a ‘silver girl’ in the last two years, the 24-year-old finally got her gold with a phenomenal performance against Japan’s♛ Nozomi Okuhara. Sindhu beat Okuhara in straight games by 21-7, 21-7 in just 38 minutes.

From Sachin Tendulkar to VVS Laxman, the entire cricket fraternity lauded the badminton champ’s historic achievement.
