The seventh season of the Caribbean Premier League is scheduled from 4th September 2019 to 12th October 2019. Nepal’s wrist-spinner Sandeep Lamichhane was picked up by Barbados Tridents franchise this year.
Sandeep made history when Delhi Capitals selected him for IPL 2018, the f🍸irst Nepalese cricketer to achieve this feat.
To participate in the upcoming tournament in the Caribbean and USA, Sandeep visited the US Embassy in Nepal for his Visa formali♓ties. To his surprise, th☂e authorities denied his Visa application.
The 19-years old informed fans via a tweet, “Today I visited @USEmbassyNepal to get the visa of USA for the upcoming @CPL 2019 tournament. Being a National Cricket Player representing my country in the various leagues since 2016 around the world, i got big surprise to see my visa got rejected. @PM_Nepal @USAmbNepal
