Moeen Ali’s struggle against Nathan Lyon continues as the southpaw was once again dismissed by the Australian off-spinner on Day 3 of the ongoing first Ashes Test at the Edgbaston.
Ali, who has been dismissed eight out of 10 🌄times in his last fives Ashes Test by Lyon, continued to misread the veteran ꦰAustralia spinner and was left bamboozled by the class of the 31-year-old.
In what was a brain-fade moment, Ali left a regular delivery by Lyon only to witness the ball to remove his off-stump. The Aussie offie troubled his English counterpart throughout the 2017-18 summ🌟er and consumed him seven times in that series. Hence, it was Lyon once again who got his bunny.
In June 2018, Ali had stated that he has moved on from his woes against Lyon but the nightmare resurfaced at the Edgbaston – a dismissal which will haunt Ali for a long long time now.
