Rashid Khan has been appointed the captain of Afghanistan team in all formats. Former skipper Asghar Afghan will be his deputy, the Afghanistan Cricket B🥀oard (ACB) announced on Friday.
Rashid Khan will take ODI charge from Gulbadin Naib, who led Afghanistan in their World Cup 2019 campaign and Test captainship from Rahmat Shah. The 20-year-old Rashid was already the skipper of Afghanistan’s T20I team.

He will now lead the Afghans in a one-off Test against Bangladesh in September, a tri-series involving Bangladesh and Zimbabwe before a full home series (to be played in India) against West Indies that will include th🐎ree T20Is, three ODIs and a one-off Test between November 5 and December 1.
