Yuzvendra Chahal, India’s frontline leg-spinner, celebrated his 29th birthday on Tuesday. He was the highest wicket-taker among spinners in the recently concluded World Cup, although his form in the second half of the tournament dwindled, and the leggie was unable to provide his team with the necessary breakthroughs.
Chahal has been named in the ODI squad which will tour the West Indies. However, the selectors have opted for a new set of spinners for the T20Is. On Chahal’s birthday, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan along with others took to Twitter to wish him.
Happy Birthday .
