CWC 2019: New Zealand all-rounder James Neesham heart-broken after World Cup loss, asks kids to take baking instead of sports

After losing the championship to England in a close encounter at Lord’s on Sunday, Kiwi all-rounder James Neesham took to Twitter to express his grief. In a series of tweets, he exhibited his feelings towards the final moment𒈔 of the game.

Barring the loss, Jimmy had a fantastic day on the field, both with the bat and the ball. He scored 19 runs off 25 balls in New Zealand’s inning, while picked up 3 wickets in his 7 overs in the second half of the match.

For the Super Over, Jimmy was sent to open the innings for New Zealand and he almost took the team to the finishing line, scoring 13 runs off 5 balls. The Super Over ended in a tie with Engl💫and winning the match due to more number of bo𒆙undaries.

In his first tweet, Jimmy congratulated England team saying, “That hurts. Hopefully there’s a day or two over the next decade where I don’t think about that last half hour. Congratulations @ECB_cricket , well deserved.

In his other tweet, Jimmy looked really heart-broken as he suggested kids not to take up sports, instead take on ‘baking or something‘.

Kids, don’t take up sport. Take up baking or something. Die at 60 really fat and happy.

A lot of cricketers and fans responded to Jimmy’s tweet, mentioning that they are proud of him and whole New Zealand team.
