After upstaging New Zealand in the 2019 World Cup Final, England team was up against Ireland for one-off Test at the Lord’s in London.
Many cricket experts believed that a Test match against Ireland will be a good platform for th𒁏e Englꦛishmen to prepare for upcoming Ashes series against Australia.
On a sunny day in London, Joe Root, English skipper asked the opꦐposition to bowl first.
However, Tim Murtagh’s 5/13 and Mark Adair 3/32 saw team England all over the place as they were eventually bundled out for 85 runs in their first innings, with Joe Denly (23) being the highest run-scorer.

Cant help but be pleased for going up on the honours board. Top bloke. For years people that bowl his pace are over looked but are serꦰious bowlers if there is anything in the wicket. would be unplayable too൲ on this!

England all out in 23.4 overs on day 1! Just 85. Meanwhile the two Australias made 105 and 120 in the first innings of their match. What odds the A🔥shes will be a high scoring contest after all this!

From W🔯inning the World Cup to being 85 all out and Ireland trailing by 35 in 2nd session of Day 1. The high and lows of sport!
