Yuvraj Singh gives a new nickname to Anushka Sharma on her retirement message to him

Yuvraj Singh, India’s hero of the 2011 Cricket World Cup, announced his retirement from international cricket on Monday during a press conference held in Mumbai.

Holding back his tears, Yuvraj said, “After 25 years in and around the 22 yards and almost 17 years of international cricket on and off, I have decided to move on. This game taught me how to fight, how to fall, to dust off, to get up again and move forward.”

Reacting on the news, Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma took to Twitter to write a heartwarming message for Yuvraj.

“Thank you for the memories @YUVSTRONG12 . You’ve been a warrior and inspiration to so many. I wish you the best in the next inning of your life,” she wrote.

Yuvraj replied to Anushka by calling her, “Rosie Bhabhi”.

“Thank you Rosie Bhabhi god bless you always,” tweeted, the 37-year-old Punjab lad.

Post Yuvraj’s comment, fans and netizens posted questions about ‘Rosie Bhabhi’ and what the left-hander meant by that.

To answer fans’ questions, ‘Rosie Bhabhi’ is a reference to a character Rosie Noronha, which Anushka Sharma played in Anurag Kashyap’s Hindi film Bombay Velvet in 2015.
