ICC World Cup 2019: Virat Kohli declared fit after a minor thumb injury

During a practice session at The Rose Bowl in 🔯Southampton, Indian ski♏pper Virat Kohli faced a minor injury on his thumb. He immediately got some treatment from the team physio to ease the pain.

According to the reports, BC𒀰CI sources told ANI that the Indian captain is completely fit and there is no reason to worry. After getting the treatment, Kohli continued his practice and finished the training session.

This is Virat’s first World Cup tournament as a captain and third one as a player. On Thursday, Kohli was seen bowling in the nets be𒅌fore gearing up for the batting session.

The no. 1 ODI batsman, Kohli has a t꧃otal 10,843 runs under his name in 227 matches with an average of 59.57.

Team India will take on South Africa for their opening game of the tournament on 5th June at The Rose Bowl in Southampton.
