The stand-in opener became the first Englishman to score three World Cup hundreds🅠 as the hosts moved up to seco🐬nd position in the points table.
After opting to bowl first, England dismissed the Windies side for just 212, but sustained injuries to Eoin Morgan and Jason Roy along the 🐬way.
Root remained the star of the show at the Ro💜se Bowl with an unbeaten 100 and t♍wo wickets with the ball.
