India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan at the Old Trafford stadium in Manchester on Sunday. This match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is being touted as the biggest matc💖h of the tournament, of cour🅠se, due to the ongoing tension between the two nations.
Virat Kohli-led India is unbeaten and they will start as outright favourites. Also, there are talks that rain could intervene during the big match, but fans are praying that Sunday’s weather in Manchester remains good.
Meanwhile, prior to the all-important encounter, Star Sports India released a ‘Mauka Mauka’ advertisement.
In the Ad, Pakistan was shown as India’s son. Thereafter, the other side also churned out an advertisement, surrounding the clash. But, they mocked IAF’s Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman in their TV commercial.
However, the Abhinandan Ad didn’t go down well with Poonam Pandey, the Indian actress, who follows the Men in Blue very closely. She uploaded a video on social media where she first showed the Pakistani advertisement while having a cup of tea. Thereafter, she hailed Abhinandan as India’s “War Hero” and claimed that she has a perfect answer to the clip. She suggested another kind of cup which Pakistan can use to drink tea.
But, Poonam’s response wasn’t taken sportingly by the Pakistani fans either. Subsequently, they severely trolled the actress on Twitter.
