Mitchell Starc bowled one of the best yorkers ever to dismiss Ben Stokes as Australia thrashed hosts England by 64 runs in a league match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup🐎 2019.

With this loss, England’s chances of reaching to the semi-finals suffered a major dent as their last two league matches are against India and New Zealand. On the other hand, Australia, on Tuesday, made it through to the semi-finals with two matches to spare.

Stokes was batting on 89, perhaps guiding his side to a remarkable victory considering the early collapse England had. B✨ut the 29-year-old Starc had other plans.

On the last delivery of the 37th over, Starc ran in and delivered a 145 kph inswinging yorker to outfox Stokes. The English all-rounder put his front foot a little forward as Starc’s delivery was coming in. But he was a bit late to put his bat down on the ball and it ripped through him to hit the off stump.

Stokes lost the grip on his bat and kicked it away🐟 in disgust and distraught as he walked back to the p♛avilion.
