Team India has done it again – they have beaten Pakistan in all their seven World Cup matches.
Led by vice-captain Rohit Sharma, who smashed 140 runs off 113 deliveries, India posted a mammoth target of 337 at the Old Trafford for Pakistan, who managed to score 166-6 from 35 overs before the rain came pouring down.
Pakistan’s revised target was to score a near-impossible 136 runs more from just 30 balls, and the strong Indian bowling line up ensured an emphatic win.
Bollywood celebrities took to social media to congratulate the Men in Blue for their phenomenal show on the field.
Salman Khan shared a picture of himself in a Team India jersey and wrote, “Congratulations team Bharat… from #Bharat.”
