India seam bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar handed his team a 🍰major boost as he returned to training ahead of the World Cup clash against the West Indies at Old Trafford in Manchester on Thursday. However, it is yet be confirmed if he will be in the playing XI.
Bhuvneshwar suffered a hamstring injury during India’s league stage match against Pakistan on June 16. During the fifth over of the second innings, the pacer’s leg was caught in the footholds near the popping crease and was ruled out for rest of the game after the penultimate delivery.

Earlier, Navdeep Saini joined the Indian team in Manchester on Monday. He was named as one of🐲 the stand-by players when the selectors had announced the 15-member India squad for the 2019 World Cup.
The BCCI sent out an official message saying: “Navdeep Saini has arrived in Manchester. Navdeep is the only net bowler here and he will train with the Indian cricket team.”
India are currently placed in the third position with nine points in fi✱ve games. The Virat K꧟ohli-led side is yet to lose a game in the ongoing 10-nation tournament.
