The second season of the Global T20 Canada will be held in Br🐻ampton from Ju๊ly 25 to August 11.
“I can play fun cricket. I will go and enjoy cricket. Have fun there. I have had a word with BCCI and I will speak again after announcement. Hopefully it will be a smooth sailing,” Yuvraj had said at his retirement press conference.
On Tuesday, the dashing left-hander💛 had written to the BCCI, seeking permission to ply his trade in the foreign T20 leagues.
“He wrote to the board. I don’t see an issue in him getting the nod to play in overseas leagues now that he has retired from international cricket and the IPL,” a BCCI source had confirmed the development to PTI.
Yuvraj featured in four matches for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2019. He did not score in bulk – 98 runs in total – but his 35-ball 53 against Delhi Capitals had flashes of the ‘genius’ he is.
