Pakistan’s senior batsman Shoaib Malik got out in a bizarre fashion against England in the 4th ODI played in Trent Bridge on Friday.
Malik, who was batting on 41 off 25 balls during the 47th over of the match, got dismissed after he clattered his stumps while trying to play a late square cut of Mark wood’s delivery.
Iꦚt was surely one of the most hilarious hit-wicket incidents by a seasoned campaigner such as Malik.
In the process, Malik also became the 8th player to be dismissed hit-wicket on two different occasions in ODI history. He joined the likes of Allan Border, Kumar Sangakkara and Misbah-ul-Haq on this infamous list after having been f🌠irst ൲subjected to the same fate back in 2003.
