Pakistan made some big last-minute changes to their 2019 Wo𒁏rld Cup squad after the conclusion of the five-match ODI series against England, with pacer Wahab Riaz earning 💮a surprise recall into the side two years after he last played a game in the 50-over format.
Wahab, who produced a sensational spell to Shane Watson in the 2015 World Cup quarter-final against Australia, was included alongside Mohammad Amir and Asif Ali. Pakistan Cricket Board’s selection panel, led by veteran Inzamam-ul-Haq, dropped Faheem Ashraf, Abid Ali and Junaid Khan in the process.
The Sarfaraz Ahm𝕴ed-led𝕴 Green team will begin their World Cup campaign on May 31 as they face West Indies at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
