On Saturday, Rajasthan Royals (RR) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad💎 (SRH) by seven wickets to end their home campaign on a winning note and keep alive their play-off chances in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL).
Opting to bowl in a must-win game, Rajasthan first restricted Sunrisers to 160 for eight and then chased down the target ൲in 19.1 overs.
By virtue of t🅷his win, RR have now moved to the sixth ꦺposition in the eight-team standings with 10 points from 12 games.
To stay in contention for a play-off berth, Rajasthan now 🦂have to win their remaining two away games against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 30 and Delhi Capitals on May 4 and then hope for favourable results from other matches.
Jaydev Unadkar scalped two wickets, conceding 26 runs in his four overs, and played a pivotal role in RR pulling back the things after David Warner-Manish Pandey’s 75-run stand.
The RR batsman then executed their job of chasing the target. While Sanju Samson topped the scoreshe🦹et with an unbeaten knock of 48 runs, it was an incoming Liam Livingstone who scored a quick-fire 44.

Hadn't seen Liam Livingstone bat but had heard a lot about his ability to hit a cricket ball. He got his favoured batting position today and has shown why he had that reputation.
