Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) star-allrounder, A♔ndre Russell, celebrated his 31st birthday on Monday morning, a couple of hours after he took centre stage at the Eden Gardens.
His blitz with the bat – unbeaten 80 off 40 balls – helped his side to register the highest total of IPL 2019 – 232 for 2.
Russell played a crucial role with the ball too as he picked up the crucial wickets of Evin Lewis and Suryakumar Yadav just after the Powerplay and gave away only 25 runs in his 4 overs. Russell’s all-round performance led KKR to a comfortable 34 runs win and also ended an 8-match losing streak of the hosts against Mumbai Indians on Sunday.

Lora has been travelling with Russell all over during the whole season this year and is enjoying her husband’s brutal batting. Russell now is the second highest run-getter of the IPL 2019 with 486 runs in 11 matches at an impeccable average of 69.43 and an unthinkable strike-rate of 207.69.
