USA has bagged the One-Day International (ODI) status for the first time 🍌in their cricketing history as they defeated Honಞg Kong by 84 runs in the ICC World Cricket League Division 2 match in Windhoek on Wednesday (April 24).
This win was USA’s third in the tournament, in four games, and ensured they will finish among the top four in the points table. The top four teams from Papua New Guinea, Hong Kong, Namibia, Canada, Oman and USA will join Scotland, Nepal and the UAE in Cricket World Cup League 2.

A🐻fter the loss against Oman by six wickets in the opening game, USA trounced Namibia by two runs, PNG by ten wickets and Hong Kong in their last game. They will now take on Canada on Friday (April 26). They are currently placed at the top of the table with six points from four games and ൲will be eyeing a top two finish to seal a place in the final of the tournament.
